Collins Family Scholarship Application Process

$3,000 each to four qualifying seniors/graduates of Rockdale County Public Schools who are of Hispanic/Latinx descent, regardless of citizenship status. First preference will be given to first generation college students. To apply, a student must be of Hispanic/Latinx descent, be a 2026 graduate in a Rockdale County Public School, be accepted to a college or technical school for the 2026-26 school year and complete an application and 500-word essay. Application due April 3, 2026. RCPS Superintendent's Scholarship

The RCPS Superintendents Scholarship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain financial support for their educational pursuits. To apply, candidates must first download the application form available on our website. Once completed, applicants should upload their filled forms through the designated submission portal. Ensure all sections of the application are thoroughly completed to avoid any delays in processing. We encourage applicants to review their submissions carefully before uploading.

RPCS Foundation Scholarship Application Process

**The Rockdale County Public Schools Foundation (RCPS Foundation) will award a $1,000 scholarship to a qualifying senior at each of the following schools: Heritage High School, Rockdale County High School, Rockdale Magnet School and Salem High School.

Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to achievement and intend to continue their education at a college/university or technical school upon high school graduation. The RCPS Foundation will announce each school’s recipient at their respective Senior Awards program.

To apply, a student must:

  • *be on target to graduate in May 2026 from a Rockdale County school: Heritage High School, Rockdale County High School, Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology, or Salem High School
  • *have been admitted to a college or technical school for the 2026-2027 school year,
  • *have not received over $2,500 in scholarships from other sources, and
  • complete an application, including the video essay portion.

    Congratulations! You are graduating from a public school in Rockdale County!

    In a video of no more than 2 minutes, please:

    1. Articulate how your experiences in Rockdale County Public Schools have influenced your decision to pursue your goals of attending college or a technical school.

    2. Describe why education matters to you and your community and how you might support public education in the future.

    3. Include the name of the school you plan to attend, the major or area of study you plan to pursue, and your career goals.

    After creating your video use the application form below to submit your information and video.

    Creativity and presentation skills will be considered by the judges.

    Please note that all applications must be submitted no later than midnight on April 3, 2026. 

    The RPCS Foundation Scholarship requires applicants to submit both a release form and a video application. Begin by downloading the release form from our website. After completing the form, create a video application of 1 minute or less that showcases your passion and qualifications. Once both the release form and video are ready, upload them together through our secure submission portal. This scholarship is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your creativity and commitment to education.

    • Ensure all forms are filled out completely and accurately before submission.
    • Video applications should not exceed one minute in length.
    • Only one submission per applicant is allowed for each scholarship.
    • Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
